In addition to being a producer (Lagartija Nick, Los Planetas, Mercromina, Ama, FRANC3S...), Almería-born bassist Fino Oyonarte has been Josele Santiago's right-hand man and second-in-command in Los Enemigos for over thirty years – specifically, since their second album, “Un tío cabal” (1988). During the decade the group was inactive – from their breakup in 2002 until their reunion in 2012 – Fino attempted to launch his own projects and founded a couple of noise-pop bands with respectable results but little impact, recording two albums with Clovis alongside Cristina Plaza (in 2005 and 2008), and one with Los Eterno alongside Nacho Olivares and Jaime Sevilla (in 2011). Finally, last year he was able to release his solo debut, "Dreams and Storms" , a sincere and intimate work, with delicate string and wind arrangements, closer to the pop of groups like La Buena Vida.

Just a year later, riding the wave of his success, he released a new single with two A-sides, again with the help of Cristina, Nacho, and Jaime. In “No mirar atrás” (Don't Look Back) , he returns to his old sound, reminiscent of Clovis and Los Eterno, The Feelies and Yo La Tengo, and his voice adopts a deeper register—he sings as if speaking, like Lou Reed. “Calles vacías” (Empty Streets) is its softer counterpart, in keeping with the album's style (Cristina plays the glockenspiel), and evokes the spirit of San Sebastián. The lyrics speak of the end of an era and the need for change, in search of maturity.
